What is SMD (Surface Mount Diode)?

  - The LED chips are printed on a PCB board by machine, so the process of making them is very efficient which  saves on labor costs.

  - The chips are diffused on the PCB board and they produce a wider light that extends over a larger area. it means the heat sink requires less material, saving costs. 

  - The SMD downlight is covered with a frosted diffuser, the LED chips are hided, the light evenly diffused. 

  - The face is usually larger.

SMDs are more efficient than COBs because the light sources produce more lumens per watt, which means they produce more light at a lower wattage.

The DTJ series is an SMD chip downligt, providing a wide beam angle of 110°, using high-quality LED chips, with good light quality, stable operation, and 50,000 hours life span. The light is diffused and can illuminate 

a larger space with its excellent lighting. And their wide beam angle makes them suitable for larger rooms, such as living rooms, bedrooms, kitchens and bathrooms.

What is an ultra-thin downlight? 

It is easy to install on any ceiling, thanks to its slim profile. Installed them in a narrow hallway or low-ceilinged space. When your ceiling is not large enough to accommodate normal size downlights, please choose 

our DTJ series ultra-thin downlights. Its maximum height is only 1.7 inches, making it suitable for narrow ceilings.
